"And when Tulio tells you to jump off the Astronomy tower, do you do it? Come on, Miguel. Be a bit contrary." Always Tugger's mission, make his friends be a bit more like him. Not exactly the best influence someone could be.
"Snart's your best bet. But expensive." Of course Joaquin still knew about this stuff, he had Slytherin ties, everyone knew that. Part of him was disappointed he wasn't in the house, primarily because of his affinity for snakes.
"We can put our resources together. It's all for a good party for the House! Worthy cause."
"Fine, fine. Get everyone you know to fork over something and we pay Snart and his Gryffindor boyfriend to nab us some ingredients. And no one tells Barty or Tulio." Peter put his hands in his pockets and pulled out what cash he had on him, tossing it onto the table and leave it there for Joaquin. He had the slytherin ties, he could handle the deals.
"I jumped off the astronomy tower once. Did you know there's a ledge just below? I didn't. Broke my arm." Miguel still mused as he took another sip of his drink without thinking then started to splutter fire.
Joaquin grabbed Miguel's hair and forced his head back to direct the flames away from anything important. "Yeah, this drink will be great for drunk teenagers." What could go wrong? Everything, right. Definitely everything.
"That was really funny. I mean, the jumping. Breaking your arm, less so." Still a little bit, in Tugger's opinion. "Nobody tell Munkustrap either. He worries too much, completely unnecessary."
"Right." Joaquin put out some fire on the curtain with the back of his hand and rolled his eyes. "I'm meeting Kevin before dinner. Are you gonna manage to walk there?"
"Okay, no one tell that wet blanket Munku either. Done. Now, Kevin is the Gryffindor, right?" Peter asked anyone who was interested in answer, raising an eyebrow when Miguel nodded. Oh yeah, cross house dating always ended so well. So many house politics, not enough time to explain it. "Aww, wish the lad a good afternoon from your pal Peter."
"Kevin seems nice. Archie told me he was a good guy, you must have picked well."
"Sounds boring. Good guys." Peter pulled a face as he gathered up his stuff and stumbled towards the door. "Just make sure you don't invite any good guys to our party who'd rat us out. It'll ruin our whole bar scene."
"Kevin wouldn't rat us out!" Not that he planned on inviting him, he didn't want to make him feel burdened with something like an illegal party on his conscience. Joaquin held the door open for Peter, just so he could make sure he would actually make it out the room.
"Bye," Tugger called after them, then turned his head to the side to let out some more fire. This drink was fun.
